Cooperation:
- Rehabilitasi atau meningkatkan penghematan energi pada pembangkit listrik
“Metodologi untuk merehabilitasi dan/ atau meningkatkan penghematan energi pada pembangkit listrik eksisting”
Peningkatan penghemetan energinya diukur pada pembangkit listrik eksisting yang telah menurun performanya setelah beberapa tahun beroperasi tanpa penambahan unit pembangkit listrik baru. Pembangkit listrik eksisting ini harus sedang dalam kondisi operasional dan rencananya akan tetap beroperasi sepanjang masa penerimaan kredit karbon ini. Peningkatan kapasitas pembangkitan hanya dibolehkan sebanyak 15% setelah pemasangan peralatan tambahan ini. Penurunan emisi terjadi karena berkurangnya konsumsi bahan bakar minyak (BBM) yang disebabkan dari teknologi baru yang dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas BBM. Rehabilitasi ini tidak membolehkan penggantian komponen-komponen utama dari pembangkit listrik eksisting ini, misalnya penggantian turbin atau boiler.
